I've cleared episode 12 in Arknights now. I've already read ahead through all of episodes 12 and 13 (it's why I went fairly deep into episode 14 even if I didn't manage to finish it) so I don't have a ton to say plot-wise. I will say that 12-19 and 12-20 feel like a massive difficulty spike compared to the rest of the episode. The boss of episode 12 isn't that tough in a vacuum, the stage itself is just really hard and having to deal with their gimmick (you have to fight multiple copies of the boss at once, and the last one spawns by permanently replacing one of your operators, which is honestly a really fucking cool idea for a shapeshifter boss). The last bonus stage for this episode, H12-4, is apparently considered the hardest stage in the game atm, or at least one of the hardest, so that'll be fun. I also played a bit of CK3, but the game crashed on me after a bit so I took that as a sign to just stop playing for the night. Probably a good thing, means I'll be going to bed at an actually reasonable hour.
